There are some very important grape varieties that Greece has to offer you, dating back as far as the ancient times. These old varieties make some of the best Greek wine available, famous all over the world. During the last few years the younger members of the wine producing families have revived the Greek wine by using these old varieties and making, in my opinion, the perfect wine.

The climate, land and location of Greece, offer some of the best growing conditions for grape varieties such as chardonnay, cabernet, merlot and shiraz. Flavours are enhanced further by many of the small producers by using organic production methods and even some of them are bottling wine by hand. These wineries have a maximum annual production of 80,000 bottles.

I have traveled around Greece  searching out for wines that I feel you will enjoy, and I have the great pleasure in bringing you the best selection from all the varieties that I have tried.

My own roots come from Peloponnesos, where my family produced small quantities of their own wine. Unfortunately we only produced enough for ourselves, so I am not able to offer you any, but it has taught me a lot about the qualities required to make a bottle of good wine. I also know that Greek wines need better support and presentation in the UK, and I will be bringing you the best that Greece has to offer.

All the wines listed on this website are a personal choice, based on their quality together with my impression of the producers when I visited them. I very much enjoy these wines and I want to share this pleasure with you.
