Aidani  Location Santorini

Characteristics

White grape variety with aromatic quality, cultivated on volcanic soil. It is blended with grapes Asyrtiko and Athiri. 


Asyrtiko Location Santorini

Characteristics

White grape variety tannin-rich , cultivated on volcanic soil in low lying formations called "stefani". Old vines with roots planted for more than 60 years. Yields white wines high in sugar and full of aroma, dry or sweet.


Athiri Location Santorini, Rhodes

Characteristics

White or black grape variety with light aroma very creamy.  It is blended with Asyrtiko. 


Debina Location Zitsa (Epiros)

Characteristics

White or black grape variety, with distinct aroma and silver color. Low in sugar and acidity.  Yields Dry, Semi Dry, lightly sparkling wine.


Muscat Location Cephalonia, Samos

Characteristics

White grape variety with aromatic quality. Yields wines dry to sweet. 


Muscat of Alexandria       Location Lemnos

Characteristics

White grape variety with aromatic flavor. Yields sweet, dry non-fortified wines. 


Robola Location Cephalonia

Characteristics

White grape variety with aromatic quality yielding crisp, very dry, citrus flavored wines. 


Roditis Location Patras,

Characteristics

White grape variety with green skin. Yields dry wines.


Savatiano Location Attica, Evia, Viotia, Thessalia

Characteristics

White grape variety.  Yields dry and sweet wines.


Agiorgitiko Location Nemea (Peloponessos)

Characteristics

Red grape variety. Yields dry and sweet red wines rich in color and very fruity.


Kotsifali Location Archanes, Peza (Crete)

Characteristics

Red grape variety low in tannins . Yields dry red wines rich in sugar and spicy.


Krasato Location Rapsani (Thessalia)

Characteristics

Red grape variety. Yields  dry wines. It is blended with grapes Xynomavro and Stavroto. 


Liatiko Location Dafnes, Siteia (Crete)

Characteristics

Red grape variety low in tannins. Yields  dry and sweet wines. It is blended with grapes Mandelaria and Kotsifali.


Mandelaria Location Crete, Paros, Rhodes

Characteristics

Black grape variety rich in tannins. Yields dry, sweet semi-aromatic wines.  It is blended with white grape Monemvasia in Paros, and with red grape Kotsifali in Crete. 


Mavrodaphne Location Patra, Cephalonia

Characteristics

Red grape variety. Yields   very sweet wines. It is blended with Korinthiaki.

Characteristics

Red grape variety low in tannins. Yields dry wines.


Xynomavro Location Amyntaion, Goumenissa, Naoussa

Characteristics

Red grape variety low in tannins. Yields dry wines.


Moschofilero

Location Mantinia (Peloponnesos)
Characteristics

A light pink to purple skin variety, semi-aromatic,  low in sugar. Yields dry and sweet white wines.
