The Circle of Greek Wine Writers (ELDIN) was created in 1994 and currently counts 16 members. In order to become a member of the association, candidates must prove that they have been writing (or communicating through other media), on wine for at least three years on a regular basis.

ELDIN, which stands for "Greek Wine Journalists", organizes press trips for its members, business lunches with quests from the wine trade and educational events for the general public. It is affiliated to the International Federation of Wine Journalists (FIJEV), based in Paris, France and partakes in its activities as well.

participation at Oenorama 2000, wine trade fair (www.oenorama.com)
